I was trying to think of two European cars I'd own, and I think I've figured it out, but I want to see yours.
Rules:
Keep them under $100k each.
Must be available in your country.
Must be new.
Here's mine:
Audi RS5 - ~$77k
Range Rover Sport Supercharged - ~$95k
I thought about an F-Type instead of an RS5, but then it'd be British only and that's no fun.
Also, no, the ST twins don't count just because they were developed in Europe.

Do they have to be new?
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:38 |

I mean I guess not.

Audi S7 & regular Range Rover Supercharged. Unless I can go a little more expensive. Then S8 and RR Autobiography/Merc G550.

jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag F-type
alfa 4C (are they avaible stateside yet?) if not then Maserati grancabrio MC dark red with black wheels and the carbon fiber and aero package
never said i was a practical man

The Range Rover was for sure for me, but the second choice was really hard.
It started as an S7, then went to an M3, then an XFR, then an F-Type, then I settled on an RS5.

Just *barely* under 100K, BMW M5
and Porsche Cayman GTS
Both manual.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:42 |

boring.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:43 |

4C isn't stateside yet, but it's close enough to being released here it counts.
Plus I think the Maserati is over $100k.

BMW 3 series estate diesel as a DD and a Golf R (cheated a bit, would be slightly over 100k USD I guess) as a weekendcar.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:43 |
|
Dat Volvo.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:45 |
|
I'm thinking Porsche 911S, and then a Panamara for hauling
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:45 |
|
How so? Both seem pretty damn exciting to me.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:46 |
|
I'd hope neither 3-series diesel or a Golf R would cost over $100K each...
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:47 |
|
That 911 would be a stripper model for sure!
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:48 |
|
True, but that's all I need. Stick, and the better engine

Jaguar XJL Supercharged -$90K.
Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG- $74k.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:49 |

You've got that lives-in-Europe advantage to get that awesome Benz.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:50 |

it is
the model i want/built is $172,575
hehe so expensive

Neither car is exemplary. IF you are talking SUVs, there is the X5M, Cayenne, big Range Rover, the GL are all likely superior to the RRSport and its fake sporting habits. If you are talking coupes, C63 AMG coupe, M4, FType Coupe - R, and Cayman GTS or 991.

YOU ARE A SMART MAN. DAT GTS
![]() 08/01/2014 at 20:59 |
|
Oh well.
I could list reasons why I'd not pick those cars over these two, but that's a lot of typing.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:03 |

In that case:
Used: '72 Porsche 911E & VW Syncro Doka, keep the change.
New: XFR-S, $99k
Cayman S, in Sapphire Blue, with PCCB & some other choice bits, $86k, because why not?
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:03 |

This is the only answer. Also you stole my answer.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:07 |

Porsche Cayman S, specifically the one I just configured, and a Jaguar XFR.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:10 |
|
Porsche Macan Turbo
And since you already picked the RS5, and the Macan is my practical/winter vehicle, I think I'll go with the M4.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:11 |
|
Yup, Cayman was a must. Probably my favorite current Porsche, and bonus points because it's somewhat obtainable. I figured my second car should be something more practical, so the M5 seemed to be a good choice, although Volvo has some good options too.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:12 |
|
I almost chose the M4, but then I remembered the RS5 existed.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:22 |
|
SLS AMG *yeah yeah be quiet and M3
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:28 |
|
The RS5 is indeed awesome, and it would be my first choice, but I figured I'd go a different route since you already chose it.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:39 |

2015 RS7 according to truecar, it can be mine for $ 101,480 (I had to go over a little, the cars I really want are a few years older). No RS6 today
2014 Porsche panamera 4S $99K on truecar
![]() 08/01/2014 at 21:51 |
|
I could go with the garage I already have (Mini Clubman S and a BMW Z4), or if I was going to pick other things...
Range Rover Standard Wheelbase Supercharged (Shut up, it's $1025 over $100K, and with haggling, it could be bought for under $100K)
Porsche 911 Carrera S ($99K)
This is enough for everyday use, plus trailering the Porsche to the track with the Range Rover.
![]() 08/01/2014 at 22:01 |

Shamelessly Also Agreeing on the RR - $95K
Morgan Three Wheeler - Motor Trend Article from 2 years ago estimated $45K, I'll estimate $60K?
![]() 08/01/2014 at 22:31 |

2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG - for me
2014 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG - for wifey
I like Benzes.

Excellent choices, my good chap. I must remind you of... a little problem that you should consider before investing on a 3-wheeler as your DD :)
Can't seem to force it to jump, pls skip forward to 4 min for laughs. :D

Who said the Morgan would be my DD? :)
